Raquel Makow is an Argentine-American tango dancer, performer, and teacher whose artistry is shaped by a rich and diverse background in Ballet, Jazz, Ballroom, and Argentine Tango.
She began her professional career in competitive Ballroom, becoming Portuguese National Champion and earning 3rd place at the WDC Under-21 World Championships in Paris. Driven by her passion for tango, she later moved to Buenos Aires, immersing herself in the culture and depth of the dance.
A seven-time finalist at the Tango World Championships, Raquel achieved 2nd place in 2020 and 4th place in 2021. She has performed in some of Buenos Aires’ most prestigious theatres and taught at major festivals across the Americas and Europe.

Goa!
Gorgeous Goa
Welcome to gorgeous Goa! Once a Portuguese colony, Goa is a blend of old and new. Known for its endless beaches, stellar nightlife, sensational cuisine, and world-heritage listed architecture, it is no surprise that it is one of India’s top, coastal, holiday destinations. Because of all the exciting and varied things Goa has to offer the discerning traveler, it draws plenty of travel enthusiasts all year round!

Quaint Panjim
Situated on the banks of the Mandovi River, Panjim is the capital of Goa. It is connected to the mainland by bridges. It must be said that a visit to Panjim is truly incomplete without a trip to Fontainhas. This colorful colonial neighborhood is one of the only Latin Quarters in Asia, and also one of the most visited places in Goa. As luck would have it, the festival venue is just a stone’s throw away from here. There are plenty of cafes, and restaurants around, and with its charm of old Portuguese architecture, quaint art galleries, and beautiful churches – this unique part of Goa is steeped in history.

DJ NAYAN
DJ SHREK
The goal of a tango dancer is to focus on connection and embrace. My goal as a TDJ is to make the dancers prioritise their focus on the music. I enjoy cultivating their trust, and guiding their journey not just through that milonga but also through their larger tango journey.
DJ MANISH DHARMANI
With a deep appreciation for the genre’s passion and elegance, Manish likes to play classical Tango tunes, painting different mood landscapes for a rich and immersive dance experience.
